Digital marketing is a trending topic in today's world as companies thrive to promote their product and pitch it to their target audience.
As the name suggests, Digital means having your presence on the internet or simply being present online. (By creating your own website, app, or digital advertisement)
Let us take an example that we all can relate to -
Suppose you are a car mechanic, how can being online help you?
Customers search on google and your link comes up
you can display testimonials, pricing, location on a map, services provided, a query form or a request call back service
By building this online presence, you can connect to people all across the world in comparatively less time and in a cost-effective manner.
There are two ways of marketing your online presence
- Blogs, Facebook, Website
- Search Engine
- Email Marketing
- Display Advertising
Search Engines can be used in two main ways-->
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)--->
- Free of cost
- Know the words that people type
Example-->
SEM (Search Engine Marketing )---->
- Buying Ad Space
- Auction System by bidding on the keyword (pay per click rate)
